My wife and I hosted a Halloween party for my son and four of his friends last night. Let me tell you, it’s take a lot of energy out of you dealing with five boys at the beginning of puberty. As a result, rather than enjoying my Sunday morning workout, I was dreading it, and almost talked myself out of it. But I persevered, and feel so much better for it. I think that’s what happens to a lot of us, getting past the ‘sticking point’. If we can just discipline ourselves to stick it out and get past that point, we feel better. I know that both my body and mind are glad I did, and my spirit says “thank you”.  And, if there are days that you don’t get past the sticking point, don’t beat yourself up about it-you get another chance tomorrow; you are only one day away from success.

Stay well, John R Blilie, M.S.
