Green tea inhibits cancer, lowers cholesterol, and burns fat.

Sweet potatoes are one of the highest ranked vegesĀ on the nutritional scale; high in fiber, vitamins A, C, and B6, potassium, manganese, and antioxidants.

Olive oil for heart health, increases good cholesterol, and fights cancer.

Dark chocolate reduces blood pressure and helps with muscle fatigue.

Avocados help prevent cancer and lowers bad cholesterol levels, and provide lots of fiber.

Oats are inexpensive and great for lowering bad cholesterol-they also are great for blood sugar control, and contain a good amount of fiber.

Yogurt, a fermented food, is great for your gut, especially if you’ve taken antibiotics. Also effective for vaginal infections.

Citrus zest. Most of the nutrients in citrus are contained in the oils in the skin; the part we throw away. They contain powerful compounds that stimulate production of the body’s enzyme for detoxification. Zest into salads, soups, chicken, seafood, and pasta.
