I was helping a 90 year-old client the other day. He needed a light bulb changed and was terrified about getting up on a ladder. It is hard for me to imagine that getting up on a ladder could be such an issue. But the more I thought about it, I realize that those kind of situations are just around the corner for me, unless I take control myfuture. When we are in our 20’s and 30’s, we have a sack full of abilities. As we age, a hole develops in that sack, and the things we were able to do when we were younger start to slip through that hole. My job is to help myself and others make that hole as small as possible. Exercise and a healthy diet seem to me to be a great way to start. Are you on-board?
Stay well, John R. Blilie, M.S.
