I had a super Fathers day today. It began with a quiet morning, reading the paper with coffee. Then I took my son to the Jewish Community Center for a workout. We had a great time, working the heavy bag, doing our band work, enjoying each other. When I work out, I have the “Benjamin Button” experience in that I always feel better; younger if you will. I hope that I will always be able to continue.
I finally (sorry) put that video on ‘life is an exercise’ on YouTube today-it should be on my website within a few days.
I’m currently reading a fascinating article on MicroRNA, a newly discovered type of RNA. I know most people are familiar with DNA; RNA assists DNA in constructing protein building blocks for cells. MicroRNA seems important for harnessing certain viruses, destroying cancerous liver and prostate cells, and may play a role in preventing the development of tumors in the small intestine. I’ll keep you posted.
Stay well, John R Blilie, M.S.
