I haven’t disappeared. My mother visited for a week, then I had a problem with my modem and staying on-line. Very frustrating. Thank god I had a jump rope handy-it’s a great way to de-stress and get my head right. Speaking of stress, it depletes vitamins C, B5, B6, magnesium, zinc, and potassium. The adrenal glands need the above nutrients to manufacture hormones, so when dealing with stress, make sure you supplement those.
Stay well, John R Blilie, M.S.
A few weeks back I blogged about fascia and the new interest in this connective tissue. There was one particular exercise to remedy the tight sitting muscles we all have and the consequent low back strain/pain. I’ve been doing the lunge daily and am giddy to report that my back has not had the usual pain when I get up in the morning, and really feels better all day. I don’t know what else to attribute the relief to other than the lunge. I’m going to shoot a video of it today and post it on youtube-it should end up on my website within the week.
