Today my wife and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary. I got to thinking of our years together and the future years we plan to have-we plan to retire to Hawaii and spend our golden years in sunshine and ocean breezes. To ensure the highest quality of my golden years, I exercise most days-this not only keeps me strong and flexible, it also helps to guard against most diseases. In addition, it is my responsibility to my wife to stay in as good health as possible. Although accidents do happen, most health issues which happen later in life are a direct result of lifestyle choices. I don’t want my wife, or children, to have to care for an invalid. So I choose exercise.

By the way, I now have a link on my website where you can shop where I shop for exercise products. The banner is on the home page, just below the picture of me working with a client. They have great products and are very professional.

Health tip: If you have a cough, let it happen unless it becomes overly annoying. Coughing is the body’s way of ridding the throat and lungs of excess mucous. In addition, cough syrups just don’t work, and can be downright dangerous in children between the ages of 2-18. A better idea? 2 teaspoons of honey (which is good for you anyway), hot liquids, or a humidifier work much better.

Stay well, John R. Blilie
