I have some clients with breathing issues such as asthma and COPD. They’ve had success improving their breathing using two therapies; thyme tea, and herbal breathing. Thyme is a spice you’re probably familiar with. You can find thyme teabags in most health food stores, or you can make your own. If using fresh thyme, steep two tbsp in two cups of hot water for five minutes; if using dried thyme use one tbsp. Herbal breathing is a product from Baar, and can be found on their website. Our lungs tend to lose elasticity as we age, or if you smoke or live in areas with high air pollution. “Stiff” lungs cannot move air in and out efficiently.
