About a month ago I wrote about a client that was trying to lose some weight. We implemented some strategies and I’m keeping you up to date on her progress.
Despite a few bumps in the road, she has lost 2 pounds. She did find a picture of herself when she was in her 30’s, and I had her post it in a place where she could see it several times a day. By focusing on where she wanted to be weight-wise, she has a better chance of getting there. As in life, if you don’t know what you want, how are you going to get there?
I also had her write a food diary, but with this little twist. Plan your food for the day first. It really seemed to help her. She also made a conscious effort to think about her choice to eat late at night. Does this choice get me closer to or further from my goal?
Lastly, I had her drink two 8-ounces glasses of water 30 minutes before each meal. She said that her stomach felt pretty full at mealtime.
