When I came home from work today, my son asked me if I could play some catch with the football. I happily agreed-times with young ones is so fleeting, and we get to talk about school, girls, teachers, etc. It was one of those golden moments that are too few and need to be cherished. It is something that I may not have been able to do if I didn’t keep exercise part of my life. It’s not the exercise per se, it’s what exercise enables me to do, things that are important to me, my wife, and my son, that are so valuable in the grand scheme of things. What is it that you treasure; that being fit would help you out with. What are you missing out on? Life is way too short to have any regrets, especially trhose with which you have direct control over.
Whatever your motivation, exercise will help. I promise.
Stay well, John R Blilie, M.S.
