I love Sundays, always have. This morning was no different; my son and I worked out together, and had a great 30+ minute workout. We threw a 12# medicine ball, did pull-ups, burpees with a med ball, agility footwork, leg work, and boxing the bag. I am so glad he is interested in more than computers and texting. Alex does Tae Quan Do 3x/wk in addition to our bike rides and workouts. It is great Father-Son time, and we get healthy too. I love 2-for-1’s.
Workout with a friend, a kid, your dog, whatever, just work out while you have the option. The choice can end all too soon.
I’m off to the kitchen to make my Beef Barley soup. I put in rib roast bones, sirloin steak, garlic, cabbage, kale, carrots, celery, and leeks. I use barley or red lentils to finish it off. And, I make it thick, almost like a stew. It’s healthy too.
I love Sundays……
Stay well, John R Blilie, M.S.
